3. A minor downside is that depending on where you want to go, you'll have to take a cab, but it was not a problem because the hotel's neighborhood was quiet.

4. The neighborhood in general is a bit quiet, but it was an easy walk to Gramercy Park, Grand Central, etc. Plus, it was very near to subway lines to the upper west and upper east side, so very easy to get around.
