1. There are loads of amenities - complementary continental breakfast, complementary wine, cheese (the cheese is very good) and crudites weekday evenings, lovely comfortable roof terrace, complementary passes to local gym and free wi-fi.

3. The free-internet, gym pass for a very cool local gym just next-door, complimentary wine & cheese nightly, and of course the complimentary dazzling breakfast were superb, a time-saver, and a huge NYC $$ boost as those items can total hundreds of $$ on a typical NYC stay.

6. ) It's a little pricey, but this level of accommodations with all the extras - free continental breakfast (w/ hard boiled eggs), lemon ice water, tea & coffee in the lobby all day, happy hour menu, free wifi, 2 bottles of water at turn-down, gym pass (though I didn't use this) - are worth it.

Everything about it is wonderful: the warm welcome at the front desk; the bottle of wine and chocolates brought to my room after I arrived; the elegantly appointed room with its Juliet balcony; the complimentary breakfast in the comfortable lobby; free internet access and passes to a nearby gym.
