1. If you have reason to be downtown on the east side, this is an excellent place to stay, and for NYC reasonably priced.

7. If you plan to spend time both up-, mid- and downtown, the location is absolutely great; I usually stay downtown, but found this location to be great - 7 minutes walk from Union Square and close to everything.
