6. There was a small problem with my reservation, I was double booked for some reason, and 'Julian' took care of it making sure I was billed at the cheaper rate.

7. I was initially willing to overlook the cracked and dirty bathroom tiles, the stained carpet, and the exposed wiring in exchange for the low room rate just off the beach.

8. If you do get a car you can probably save a lot by skipping hotel parking (around $25+ per day) in favor of the municipal garage at 16th and Collins Avenue just 2 block away (rate is around $1/hour max $16/day )We would recommend the Marseilles to anybody with a budget in mind.
