1. If you are expecting to walk into the Ritz you are in for a huge disappointment, keep in mind this resort began operations late 1971.

3. To get to Epcot, it's far better to simply walk over to the transportation center, about 5 minutes through the Polynesian gardens, than to take the monorail around the long way to the transportation center, about 15 minutes.

4. The bus to Hollywood Studios is on the way to the Great Ceremonial Building, probably a 3-4 minute walk from our room.

6. We had a garden view room in the Tahiti building which was a bit further from the Great Ceremonial House but a very quick walk to the TTC for the Epcot monorail.

9. The resort itself is beautiful-if you're an early morning riser it's great to walk around and hear the south seas music while it's nice and quiet.

The Tahiti longhouse was nice for two reasons: 1) Short walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), which is where you get the monorail to Epcot and the Express Monorail to the Magic Kingdom and 2) There is a separate little parking lot in the back near Tahiti that isn't crowded like the main one in the front.
