4. The front desk solved a FedEx package problem for me at 6:30 AM; they gave us great restaurant recommendations; two guys helped re-pack our car at check-out; and another person provided bowls for our dogs.

My lack of enthusiasm is due to: no fridge in the room, the presence of a cash bar in the room and an array of other 'you use it, you pay extra' items in the room,paying extra for a web connection, $18 per day parking, maid service by request, a too fancy (and always empty) restaurant, no information in the room about what the hotel offered (not even the check-out time).
