1. Decent sized balcony with patio furniture (not just chairs).

2. It was great to have a one bedroom suite for our family as our baby needs to go to bed quite early and it was easy for us to put him down and hang out in the suite or on the spacious patio.

9. POSITIVES:location - we prefer Wailea to the other areas of Mauisize - the resort is not a mega hotel and doesn't feel too overwhelmingly crowded even during holiday timescabanas - you have the option of renting cabannas at the pool or umbrellas at the beach if you don't want to worry about getting up to save a spot food - restaurants/food are on site if you choose not to cook as opposed to condosaccommodation - villas offer excellent size accomodation for a bigger family and the plunge pool/patio is hours of fun for the kidslayout - villas are close to the beach and very convenient to get in and out of, front and back door right onto hotel grounds, no elevator hasselsresort layout - excellent, lobby, grounds, beachstaff - mostly friendly and accomodating (not all but most) family friendlyNEGATIVES:-cafe ciao restaurant.
"Still Like the Kea Lani " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/7/2008 Vote
