9. I thought the hotel was lovely, the staff were helpful, the shuttle service worked, the food was OK, and all in all thought the Doubletree was a really good alternative to massive international chain hotel operations, where you could be anywhere in the world because everything looks the same.

The shuttle to take us from the airport was very prompt and courteous, check-in was prompt, the room was as ordered with two VERY comfortable beds, the room was clean, everything worked properly, including AC, it was quiet, even though there was a wedding in the house, and the bartender was extremely friendly and interesting.
