2. Also buy a beach umbrella there for $18 - it was probably the best money we spent the whole trip since there is very limited shade on the beach (but the grassy area does provide nice cool breezes and shade).

6. We like being able to prepare our own meals to save a little money (stock up at Costco in Lihue!), and the kitchen is fairly well stocked with all the dishes, pots & pans, etc. that we needed.
