1. My only wish is that they would offer some lower cost 'take and go' breakfast options like they do at the Hapuna.

4. The rooms have some nice new upgrades since the renovation and the food has gone from hotel mediocre to fine restaurant worthy, though it is true to the high Hawaiian cost of living.

5. We also stayed at Hapuna (also a Prince, but lower cost) and you should not think everything here is better, but the two resorts together (full joint access) provide all you could need.

6. We did the clambake again this year, and remembered why we had decided it wasn't a great option for us last year - neither of us are big enough sea food lovers to justify the costs, but the setting is great and if you love lobster it could be a great deal - it's very popular with guests and locals alike.

7. We have visited this hotel 27 of past 31 yrs--we are 16-20 handicap golfers-hotel was closed for 2 1/2 yrs to repair earthquake damage---the hotel is much more expensive than in past--they have done very little to Beachfront rooms while spending huge amounts on 7th and 8th fl rooms making 2 rooms for every 3 in past--restaurants are much more expensive with same food--service was good but that may have been because of 30-35% occupancy--we are golfers and play every day--spent 16 days there--course is now so hard it is unpleasant to play--traps/bunkers are now 6-8 ft deep everywhere--greens are slanted and tiered so 3 and 4 putts are not unusual--cost to play golf as a hotel guest has gone from $120 per day to $240--that's $480 per day per couple--out of our league and we usually spend $700-800 a day when we go to a resort--hard to recommend to go that far--airline used to be $900 RT from East Coast now $1600 plus $600 to upgrade with miles and cash--out of sight.

8. At this point she changed the subject and started to hard sell a room 'in the newly renovated tower' which would cost $25.00 more per night.
"A Little Dissappointed " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/18/2010 Vote
9. If they had a room available it would cost $350/nite to stay until six pm, and after that we would need to pay for a full nite.

10. Cost of room with tax was $955.54 a night with the 4th and 8th night free.
