1. When I would finally did get out, I was just a short walk away from the best end of Waikiki beach with more sand and plenty of watersports rentals.

5. It's next to Ala Moana Center like others have mentioned and there's a nice beach park within walking distance, but for the main shops and Waikiki beach it's more like a short drive to get there.
