1. Another tip: There is a Hertz location in the hotel, but if you rent from the concierge you'll get a better rate.

3. I got a good promo rate that included a $30 resort credit but when I couldn't get a free upgrade (I am a Silver Marriott member), I agreed to a $70 per night upgrade to the 21st floor in K Tower with full ocean view.

6. I actually had a pretty good experience here, and got a decent rate through an auction website (the one endored by Captain Kirk, hint hint), but I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for something truly special.

7. If you need to park over night, go a couple blocks down Kuhio and you can find parking at a MUCH cheaper rate.
