1. This hotel is located right across the street from the beach and also has a lot of shopping and restaurants near by, so you can basically walk anywhere you'd like.

2. Overall, was a great stay, and great to be part of all the action in Wakiki every night, able to walk most places and the $2 bus to Ala Moana across the road.

3. It wasn't a problem and unless you like crowded beaches I suggest you walk 'down island' to the state park area for slightly less dense crowds.

4. Drilling seems to start around 6am and finishes around lunch time - wasn't too much of a problem for us - we preferred to sit on the beach and swim down near the Hilton Hawaii Village - nice walk and the water is crystal clear aqua blue to swim in).

5. The Beach is directly across the street which is great its not a long walk at all but beware they are doing major work on trying to extend the beach area so there is lots of work going on so part of the beach is not accessible and the parts that are are very crowded .

8. Centrally located within walking distance to tons of restauarants and shops, beach is just across the street also we named part of the beach withing the breakwall to Ashy beach in honor of our youngest daughter who loved the ocean after swimming in it for the first time.
