The
charge
is apparantly to cover bottles of water in your fridge each day, complimentary use of the phone, towels at the pool, and various other things, which would have been great have we had we have known about them.

It does lack a resort feel to it and the daily resort fee is a bit steep for what should be provided free of
charge
given the high room rates.

We stored our surfboards near the valet downstairs (free of

I also had some postcards to mail, and they took care of it for me -- didn't
charge
for the stamps - which I found very classy.

Be aware if you are renting a car there is a 20$/day
charge
to park in a secure building across the hotel (or $24 if you want to use valet service).

The other thing that left us with a bitter taste in our mouth was when we checked out we were given a bill for over $100 for the daily amenities
charge
, which we had never been told about when we checked in.
