1. There are several good things about this hotel: easily accessible location downtown, safe and secure self-parking ($21 per night, as opposed to several nearby hotels which have considerably more expensive valet-only parking), reliable if not remarkable Hilton standards in terms of the quality of room furnishings, and rates which often are less than the other mega-hotels nearby.

2. parking: valet & self prices ($24-30 valet/day, $18-20 self/day) are over-priced but having option of self-parking in garage is better than none; have to transfer between elevators for access to garage tho.

3. There are public parking garages around the hotel but I don't know if they're any cheaper and they probably don't have in and out privileges so the Hilton is probably the best bet for parking.
