Anyway the Newport covered the room for that night, but not the parking which was $25.00 and they also waved the resort
fee
, gave us valet parking free, 4 free drinks, and 2 free lunches.

Priceline will be hearing from us on this one - they charge a $10

for things like 'discounts at the beach' and 'room safe usage'.

You sort of get nickled and dimed on things like parking and the tiki huts on the beach, but wireless internet and beach towels are free, Overall I spent $325.15 on 3 nights 4/12-4/15 and that is including parking and the resort
fee
.

You will be charged a resort
fee
of $12/day which doesn't get you much, not even a beach umbrella.
