1. Lovely room, comfortable bed and pillows, very large bathroom (loved the decor in the shower!), nice staff, perfect location in the French Quarter and a wonderful, large balcony.

2. We loved place d'armes- it was right in the heart of the French quarter (but far enough from the madness bourbon street!) and the accommodation was clean, spacious, as well as really quaint, retaining a feel of old new Orleans in the decor and ambience.
