1. Suggestions: I would like to see a towel bar by the vanity along with a magnifying mirror.
"Don't Be Afraid! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/6/2012 Vote
2. Even though the hotel has a lot of old school New Orleans aspects, there is something to be said for clean, respectable linens, toiletries beyond bar soap and shampoo, and a little more cleanliness in general.
"Great location but tired " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/31/2011 Vote
3. I was a bit hesitant about the interior room, due mostly to some scathing reviews, but when you consider that New Orleans' bars and their patrons do not observe the normal hours of revelry or raucous exuberance, the thick interior walls provide the peace and serenity needed for that deep rejuvenating slumber required after a day of walking the beautiful French Quarter, River walk, or having a few or more drinks along Bourbon Street, which is but two blocks away.
"French Quarter charm inside and out " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/29/2011 Vote
4. The location is the best, bar none.
"Best location and best value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/4/2011 Vote
5. We did it on our 1st day and learned where the best places to eat and where the fun and historical bars are.
"Not that great! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/1/2010 Vote
6. The best location, bar none, in New Orleans.
"A gem in the heart of New Orleans " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/1/2010 Vote
7. Harrah's and the Warehouse District (another great area for food and bars) are 5-6 blocks away at the foot of Canal St.
"Wonderful Hotel in the Heart of the Quarter " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/25/2010 Vote
8. Because it was Mardi Gras, many of the famous places like Pat O'Briens and Acme Oyster Bar were packed, but we spent much of our time going back and forth to the parades on Canal St.
"Wonderful Hotel in the Heart of the Quarter " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/25/2010 Vote
9. There is even a great bar (self cater) in the courtyard if you came with a large group and wanted to set something up.
"Why stay anywhere else in the French Quarter? " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/3/2009 Vote
10. It's far enough away from Bourbon Street and the surrounding bars to get a good night's sleep, yet it's in the middle of everything, including being close to the Cathedral, Cafe Du Mond, the flea market, the electric cars and all of the French Quarter.
"It's a Mixed Bag-But I'd Stay There Again! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2009 Vote
