5. I unexpectedly needed a room for one night in Phoenix so I ended up at Hotel Highland based on Fodor's review that it was a 'heck of a deal' and most importantly for my purposes pretty near the airport, with complimentary shuttle.

6. Great location, you can walk to restaurants and shopping; appreciated the complimentary airport shuttle which was convenient; the continental breakfast was marginal; the rooms had been updated and were very nice; soft and plush towels, free wifi, flat screen tv.

9. Nice to have a shuttle not only back and forht to the airport but also to most of the resturants and stores in the area, which can be nice when it is 105 degrees outside.

10. They have an airport shuttle that I believe would also take you to some local spots if desired and the driver gave us excellent directions to the airport since we had a rental car.
