Two negatives are the daily fee ($32)
to park
the car - which I understand in normal for the D.

to park
at the hotel.

The guy at the front desk, however, told us that we would be able
to park
on the street the following evening at 6 PM so we wouldn't have to pay for another night of parking.

We drove down and I refused to pay $30/night for valet parking, so for the weekend, I was able
to park
on the street.

It was a five-minute drive to the zoo and Georgetown and probably five to seven minutes to the White House and Mall (but there`s nowhere
to park
there, so leave the car with the valet and take the train).
