1. There are no typical modern amenities such as free in room WiFi ($10/day), a gym (unless you consider a room w/ two treadmills and a step machine a gym), a concierge, a decent bar (there's a bar but it's more depressing than desirable).

4. When you stay at the Churchill, its like living in your own apartment; not a boring white box, but a high-ceilinged, elegant, stylish early 20th century suite, BUT its loaded with all the 21st century amenities, and best of all, the PRICES ARE ACTUALLY REASONABLE.

5. In an age when convenience, price, and amenities are easily boasted by the hospitality industry to invoke 'customer value,' the Churchill Hotel has all three but clearly focuses on personal service as the foundation of an exceptional guest experience.

9. This place was so calm, and luxurious, and within moments after check-in I was on my way up to my room - surprise - I had a corner room with a huge, soft, king sized bed, flat screen TV, huge bathroom with impressive amenities, things were looking up.
