1. The historic charm was nice and the location is good (except for parking).

4. Other than this parking mystery, I loved my stay and will be returning to party on NYE with the Churchill, and this will be my hotel of choice from now on, i will just park on the curb myself next time and tip the valet 25 bucks to watch it for me HA.

6. I visit DC as a tourist on occasional weekends, so there`s nothing more convenient than free parking and a short walk down Connecticut Ave to the hotel.
"Perfect location; the rest is pretty good. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/6/2008 Vote
7. Two negatives are the daily fee ($32) to park the car - which I understand in normal for the D.
"A Nice Place to Stay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/12/2012 Vote
8. Also, it would be nice if their website stated their rigid parking fees since an overnight charge of $39 or a daily charge of $26 might be a bit pricey and a shock to someone upon check-in.
"Lovely Hotel - Minus Front Desk Staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/9/2012 Vote
9. To top it all off, we were in the ER all night (returned to hotel at 9am) therefore our car was not in their lot at all, so when we tried checking out at noon, they gave us a hard time trying to make us pay for their $39 overnight parking charge.

10. So if you're looking for a place that is friendly, has quite a bit of history, has it's own character, clean, and in a location that can't be beat, where you don't need a car to worry about parking.
"Location, location, location and staff and room size " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/23/2011 Vote
