7. Non existent service, uncomfortable 'pillow top bed', exposed box springs (no covers), sheets that are too short for the bed, low water pressure and cheap fixtures, beat up furniture, small rooms, lousy views (you get your choice of a large parking structure or the grey hound bus station), lousy construction standards.

|
24. regular room, not a suite, nicely decorated, bathroom very small, had to call for help at 1AM, already in bed, for the TV to work, told' maid loosened cable connection', in the morn, coffee maker would not work, after many attempts, my partner went downstairs to get me my java, tried to shower, shower head was up so high, could not adjust or pull down, unable to shower, my partner went to the gym, the Spectrum, to shower and work out but he didn't do that, was disappointing, not the usual ammeneties, requested a late check-out, none given, had to rush out of there without even the customary plastic laundry bag in the closet, I would have been charged for the fabric one there.

29. The only reasons for not giving this place a perfect 10 are small, but here they are: No fan in the bathroom, tiny balcony (at least for our room) that is more for decoration (it was standing room only for 1 person), no in-hotel spa (but tons of them a few minutes away) and no fireplaces offered in the rooms.

Each of the newly renovated rooms has lovely dark chocolate brown hardwood floors, a canopy bed with matching dark chocolate wood, ~40 inch LG flat screen TVs, a good-quality Keurig coffee maker, bathrooms with a tastefully printed blue-flowery wallpaper, and an adorable small plastic froggy toy on top of a wooden bench in the bathroom.
