1. With all there was to do and see in Santa Barbara and wine country beyond, we barely had time to relax on the rooftop pool deck, which is one of the most charming features of the Canary.

The Canary always makes me very happy - the rooms are comfortable, the bedding is plush, the bathroom products are top-notch, the staff is very friendly, the rooftop decks are expansive (see my photo), the bar is well-stocked, and the location is very central, with lots of reataurants and shopping near-at-hand.
