1. Unfortunately the view from the opposite direction was horrendous, particularly if you were poolside.

2. The hotel were aware that we were on our honeymoon as they wrote it on our room card and yet when we arrived at our room we were greeted with the most appalling view of a derelict building next door.

6. This is not to mention the fantastic views of the sea through the derelict hotel next to the Riu that the rooms overlooked - smashed and boarded up windows, smashed concrete, stagnant water and graffitti.

9. When I recieved it it said I had booked a standard room (at a lower rate) I called the 800 number back to ask for them to change it to a full sea view and was told they were completley booked.

10. The views of the buildings and bridges over to south beach are truely breath taking.
