There is a reasonable Italian diner at 39th
street
called Carrabba's (although a bit expensive for what it is) which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
"Not bad - but better available "

We managed to use the
street
parking instead of Valet Parking which was free from 6pm to 8am - so didn't use that service either.

and save a ton of money.

The situation of the hotel was a bit further up Collins Avenue this was on 31st
Street
and the main bars etc start around 17th
street
downwards but saying that it does only take about 10/15 mins to walk to which is nothing in the sun shine.

Their is valet parking which is $17 a day but to be honest everywhere is valet parking no matter whether your going out for a meal or if you are just going for a drink since there is no
street
parking.
