3. This was our third stay here--yes there are building works going on on either side--it didn`t affect us--we don`t just sit by the pool we get out and about--a lovely walk to Ocean Drive along the Beach/Boardwalk--easy to get to the shops--walk/taxi/bus--only $2 one way--quite an adventure.

4. If the budget allows personally I would stay at the Marriot Courtyard or Best Western which are a few blocks north on Collins Avenue - better rooms, good pool areas, access to the board walk, free internet etc etc.

6. There is really only one italian restaurant within walking distance, so we got a taxi to South Beach so we could enjoy a meal and a drink, it cost $12 there and back, and although it was a happening place everthing was very very expensive.

8. We werent bothered to much about that 10 min walking distance as Miami beach has a fantastic and inspired deck to walk around just on the shore - you can walk 5-6 km.
