1. Stayed there for a weekend, and loved it, we had a very big and clean suit, it might be outdated but it was very clean and we had a great view.
"Loved my stay and the Front Desk Staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/20/2012 Vote
2. We visited two to three historic monuments or museums daily, and capped our week with a baseball game at Nationals Park, taking the Metro back to the hotel after 10:30 p.m. The morning we left we walked five blocks to the White House to take in one last memorable view, before walking back to the hotel to check out.
"Within walking distance of Metro stop and everything west of the Washington Monument " Read full review on Expedia   7/1/2010 Vote
3. Also if you want a great view your not going to get it with this hotel.
"Pretty Good " Read full review on Travelocity   8/1/2009 Vote
4. Our room did not have a view, but that was not a problem because we spent most of our days walking all over D.
"Great Location and Nice Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/12/2009 Vote
5. The preferred rooms seem to be in 'first' building, as they have a wonderful view of the Capital and the Washington Monument.
"Great location, decent room " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/27/2009 Vote
6. , good views shouldn't be the reason for choosing a hotel, though.
"Good value, great location, with a few cons. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/20/2009 Vote
7. Walk to the corner, cross the street to the center median and you have a great view- Very friendly staff- Convenient to MetroNow the bad:- The rooms are a bit dated and bland and beige is the color of choice in the hallways, rooms, etc. The rooms have a very lived in feel about them and everything feels a bit worn.
"Friendly staff, conveniences lacking, hotel needs updating " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/7/2008 Vote
8. It is also difficult to describe how uncomfortable it was to open the window when the only view out of the room was into the neighboring embassy and its residents.
"Please take this review into consideration before booking at the State Plaza Hotel. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/24/2012 Vote
9. That room was smaller, you have a view of a wall and you get the noise of all of the other guests from the 2nd building passing as well as the hotel staff who's offices are right across the hall.
"Interesting value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/15/2011 Vote
10. Make sure you ask for a room with a view as we had one that faced East and could see the Capitol and Washington Monument and were on the 8th floor which was nice.
"Great Location and value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/8/2011 Vote
