7. On Friday night we went out in the neighborhood to find somewhere to eat and found that had we walked a little farther to New York Avenue, there are much better restaurants.

8. Walk up 4 blocks to I Street and 20th street and go to Lindy's Red Lion, a very small neighborhood college bar wtih a great hamburger menu and other things with good prices.
