Next, the ugly:- the bed seemed nice at first, but it doesn't take long for a stomach sleeper to realize the bed is sagging in the middle- my room, which the desk clerk said had 'a nice view of the marina and the downtown,' actually had a nice view of the fence and the back of the rocks lining one side of one of the pools.

4. The king size bed with the most luxurious linens must of been just one of the reasons I slept like a baby, not to mention how quiet the rooms are.

Rooms were well appointed, comfortable bed, clean updated room and bathrooms, even have Peter Thomas Roth bath amenities (as a woman, I appreciated this very much!^_^) It was a short trip to get downtown, SD Zoo and Seaworld and not too bad to Coronado as well, where we had dinner plans one evening.

I was disappointed with my hotel because I specifically paid extra for a high-level room with a king sized bed and a great view, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that there were no more King suite rooms available and since I pre-paid through another website, the hotel was not able to refund any of my money as they were down-grading my room.
