1. Just steps away from the beach, great pool area and lots of amenities.

2. Its fun if you don't mind public transportation and for $5.00 you can purchase a day pass which you can even use to get to Sea World/the wonderful Zoo or Mission Beach.

6. I had 3 children with me and they gave me lots of ideas for things to do , the best beaches for kids, etc. The room service was great, warm and prompt.

The beach is very nice, and there is much to like about this charming hotel and area (including the hotel shops,) but the Sheraton may be more convenient if you want to get around to the zoo, Sea World, aquarium in La Jolla, hiking in Torrey Pines, etc. You can still go to the beach in Coronado (Imperial) without staying at the hotel.

8. You basically need to take a taxi or a rental car anywhere you want to go; this can be marked in contrast to previous stays I had in Mission Beach/Pacific Beach where I was able to walk from my hotel to any number of stores of restaurants.
