5. I was a hotel manager so I know this was bull, but just to make sure that it wasn't some weird CA tax, I called the Holiday Inn down the street from the Sheraton and asked if there would be any additional tax charges if I booked my room online, which they obviously said NO.

6. Dined in the Harbor View for dinner, Service was excellent and prompt, but for the price and quality of food I would look into one of the more upscale Gaslamp district or some of the fresh fish resturants just down the street.

8. The Bay tower has quite the resort feel to it and it is adjacent to the Marina (not sure about the Marina Tower as our room there faced the main street) The lobby was very elegantly decorated and the rooms were very large and cozy and were decorated in a tasteful nautical theme.
