9. The rooms are TINY (we had to put our bags in the bathroom) and the staff were a bit hit and miss (the man on the desk at night was fantastic, some of the others were a bit 'odd') but overall I would definately recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in SB on a budget.

10. The fluorsescent polyester bedspreads, dubious carpet, and spartan bathrooms are gone, replaced with a style that reminds me of a modern cruise ship cabin.
