3. On the plus side, the room was clean, and the location is great, but I would most certainly not recommend this motel, or any of the other cheaper hotels close by for that matter.

5. At the end of the day the motel 6 was ideal for our needs and the value for money compared with our next nights stay in santa monica was fantastic so therefore would thoroughly recommend the Motel 6 Santa Monica at the beach.

6. Staying in a single king room it was as basic as a hotel room could possibly be with no extras eg iron, hairdryer etc. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay long term here, and if we were to revisit Santa Barbara we would choose a different hotel.

10. The rooms are TINY (we had to put our bags in the bathroom) and the staff were a bit hit and miss (the man on the desk at night was fantastic, some of the others were a bit 'odd') but overall I would definately recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in SB on a budget.
