2. We paid $152 inc tax for a very small room, no breakfast and no free wi-fi (even a smile from the staff cost extra apparently!)We had tried to book three nights but the hotel was full (thankfully).

5. Except for one good but expensive beach restaurant (28$ for 2 breakfasts), where you can sit on the terrace and watch the joggers and cyclists in their Lycra and iPods, and the little doggies in their designer tartan, unless it's the other way round.

8. Here's what we got: a double bed (not queen, not king), one very small desk with one chair, a closet that is less than 4' high, a poor quality TV ( but it is hi-def), a $2.99 charge for wifi, no Kleenex, no gift toiletries, no breakfast (there's free coffee in the office).
