1. I suspect it's from repeated hurricane damage to the infrastructure, but the balcony door obviously needed realigned/resealed.

2. This room was better, although you can still hear the noise but the balcony and view were a bonus.
"Nice hotel right on the beach about 30 minutes walk to Lincoln Road " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/2/2009 Vote
3. The room did smell of wet dog, I presume that is because of the humidity and leaking balcony door on the old stained carpet.

5. I then called the hotel and they moved me to a Ocean View with balcony (for a higher price), so I took what I could.

7. An enormous skyscraper building is being constructed right next door, which obstructed half the view of the ocean (from our north-facing balcony).

8. As building work is going on on 3 sides of the hotel the only choice was to pay for a seaview with a balcony ($30 per night which they reduced to $20 per night).

9. We had a room on the 7th floor, it was overlooking a derelict building (which a revue had commented on, well unless you like sitting in you room looking out the window with the net curtains open all day, then it is no big problem as there are no balconies that side.
"Lovely Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/12/2008 Vote
10. Initially given room 631 but then upgraded to an ocean view room 1034 (well worth it for the balcony and the view!) My opinions are set out below.
"Not bad for the price.... almost liked it a lot! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/19/2008 Vote
