1. We had occasional noise from the gates for the pool area, also noise from the apartments next to us.

2. The noise from the trains was probably the only down-side, however you are going to get that at most of the places along the beach given the proximity of the tracks and station.

3. I should also note that the 'windows' on the rooms aren't fully sealed 'windows' in the sense that some might expect - they're more of a California-style 'slat' window, meaning that you do get quite a bit of noise from the parking lot and people walking by.

4. Given that callous inconsideration has become something of a cultural norm in America over the last two decades, Brisas del Mar should consider doing something about upgrading its door jambs with some kind of industry-standard noise cushioning.

7. However since there is no a/c there the windows are not competely filled with glass leaving a part with wooden shutters with assures enough fresh air but also a lot of noise ; you actually have the impression sleeping in the middle of a parking lot and are constantly awaken by guests arriving late or leaving early or the train passing by at 5 am.
"Such a noisy place " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/12/2009 Vote
8. One word of caution, the hotel is near the railway track so trains can be heard although the noise is at minimum.
