1. Santa Barbara is a beautiful place sandwiched between mountains and the ocean and I can't think of anywhere better to see it from than this hotel.

2. This 'Inn At the Beach' is actually a long block away from the ocean, though we were consoled that we could get a peak of distant palm trees through the funky dolphin 'cascading fountain' that, sadly, is turned off at night.

3. This is a less than 2 block walk to the ocean and Stearns Wharf, and a short to State Street, the center of town with restaurants, shopping and peoplle watching.
