1. The bellman even told me of a great place to park the car (parking structure next to the ballpark, in front of the omni), and its only two small blocks away.

5. My friend stayed at the Marriott Marquis across the tracks next to the convention center and self parking 'out in the open' parking lot is $26 per night, so all you tourists with cars better take this in to consideration when staying at the Gaslamp/Convention area.

8. The valet is $35 a day, which seems a bit high, and there didn't seem to be any other options but granted, we didn't try terribly hard to find alternate parking.

9. There are plenty of parking lots nearby, or between 6pm and 8am, you can park outside the hotel for free at one of the meters.

10. Parking was not a problem - parked in the lot on 6th and K and spent $8 per night, although this would have been much higher if I kept my car parked there during the day.
