4. The Hilton Gaslamp is a nice alternative to the mega-hotels along the main drag (Hyatt, Marriott and the new Hilton on the bay).

6. Recenlty I've visited San Diego for a conference held on a nearby hotel and some friends recommended the Hilton Gaslamp Quarter as the best located hotel in the neighborhood.

8. I received some UPS packages and the hotel personnel was very helpful in warning me and to take the boxes to my apartment.

9. Admittedly, it is in a great location, direct across from the Convention Center, but I feel for this price, the hotel should be better updated, The shower was terrible, low water pressure and confusing on/off.
