Let me start out with the things they don't tell you: there is no parking (they say there is street parking however to get a spot on the street you will need to look at 4 am, so prepare to pay at least 15 dollars a night for parking and this applies to any of the hotels located in downtown Austin) there is a lot of construction going on in the downtown area which makes it difficult to navigate the roads .
