5. They were friendly and personable, not robotic, and they made a very good first impression by offering me an early check-in (just before noon) without my even having to ask if something were available.

6. Beware though every time that I book using a 3rd party service like Expedia, when you check in they will always try to give you the story that they are booked up and the only room they have left is a queen or double smoking lower floor.

10. The email the hotel sent me the week of my check in helped me find the cheapest transportation from the hotel (SuperShuttle worked great) and verify overnight parking rates at the hotel.
