I was staying just as the volcanic ash clouds were clearing and one of the reception staff was particularly helpful and outgoing, she helped me contact the airline and email my family in the UK, which meant a lot at an uncertain time, especially as I was traveling alone and had some trouble getting the internet to work in the room.

10. Could I have stayed at the Westin for $30 more on the particular days I was going? Yes, but I wouldn't have gotten free internet($15/day at the Westin), I would have paid $75 for valet instead of $32, and people would probably be snooty.
