2. Easy walk to Union Square, the Orpheum Theatre, Gplden Gate Theatre, the Museum of Modern Art, China Town, Powell Cable Car station, etc. Who we believe was the front desk manager, was extremely friendly and even upgraded our room from a shared bath to a private bath, free of charge.

4. My overall impression of this place is that someone had a few bucks and desire to turn a beautiful old VIctorian into a trendy boutique hotel and then they went off to travel or do something else leaving no one in charge or accountable.

9. Unlike the Marriott, the Mosser does not charge for wifi in your rooms, and while it might not have all the bells and whistles, at less than half the rate per night, I got a comfortable room, with a decent view in the heart of the city.
