1. The entire staff from the front desk reception to the bell men and the housekeeping personal were always friendly and easy to communicate with.

The continental breakfast in the lobby each morning and the free wifi was an extra unexpected bonus as were all the toiletry extras left each day in the room (razors, hair gel, mints) all were promotional products left for marketing purposes but a great addition to the great housekeeping services.

4. The more modern looking platform bed was okay comfort wise, but the platform was scuffed and dirty--clearly not an area that housekeeping was interested in maintaining.

6. The glasses in the bathroom, once used, were never replaced, so I had to rinse them out and use the same ones repeatedly, despite my leaving notes for housekeeping, along with a tip.

7. This was due to the hotel obviously being busy but also because the hotel housekeeping staff also used the guest lift for their trolleys.

8. so I was left to ration the tiny amount of conditioner I received, and the tiny bar of soap, etc. The most ridiculous part is that the housekeeping staff threw out my rations, and on the last day, I had a shower without conditioner and soap.

9. The only reason I didn't give it an 'excellent' rating is that housekeeping seemed to slip on our third day (and we'd been tipping them daily).
