1. The lobby is beautifully modern and extends for several rooms with lots of comfortable seating to meet with friends or hang out during the complimentary morning coffee/cocoa and evening wine/beer receptions.

2. Didn't like the fact that there wasn't tea and coffee facilities in the room but they did offer complimentary tea/ coffee in the reception area each morning and complimentary wine tasting in the evening.

Now I must have also mentioned that it was my birthday that weekend because the next day after we came back from some sight seeing we were AMAZED to discover a complimentary bottle of champagne (on ice) with a giant slice of chocolate mousse cake waiting for us in the room with a note wishing me a happy birthday from Kimpton hotels.

And I haven't even gotten to the part about the complimentary wine hour, a great little social mixer held every day down in the beautiful lobby that was a perfect place to meet and mingle with other guests (a truly interesting and eclectic crowd) as well as unwind from a day of shopping and tours.
