Got my money back from concierge but got no apology just comments like, 'Oh, that was last night you booked it, ya, I don't know what happened'; and 'Well, you took a different boat, that's the only reason you made it to
dinner
on time'.

The concierge was very accommodating, and was a great help in booking a Broadway show, as well as a

at a nearby restaurant.

(For a GREAT authentic Thai
dinner
with many vegetarian options, don't waste your time trying "Thai" downtown -- go to Thai Pastry on Broadway at the Argyle stop on the north red line!) In addition to the hotel's room service, there is a cute continental style breakfast-to-go window just off the main lobby with a quiet lounge where you can grab a muffin/pastry/bagel, fresh fruit bowl or banana & cappuccino, tea or juice.
