1. Our room was right next to the elevator, and I was afraid it would be noisy, but it was nice and quiet, except for some street noises to be expected.

7. I had requested a quiet room several weeks in advance, yet was given a room facing the street from which I could hear traffic noise.

8. My only concerns were as follows: 1) The hotel is located next to some high rises that are currently under construction and unfortunately our room faced the construction so we were subject to some construction noises in the morning.

9. The hotel next door was under construction during our visit but we did not hear any noise as we were on the 10th floor of the hotel.

10. Even though there is building work next door there was no noise or dust and we sat outside the hotel everyday for breakfast and occasionally for an afternoon drink.
