6. The Talbott is a real nice boutique hotel right in the heart of the Gold Coast, one of the nicest neighborhoods in Chicago, and about 1.5 blocks from the Magnificent Mile.

8. Dwayne (spelling?) greeted us at the door and was very helpful, suggesting options for dinner and things to do around the neighborhood, as well as taking the time to show us the features of our room (including the heated floors in the bathroom).
