1. Our apartment was very nice, with a nicely equipped kitchen with a very clever dining arrangement, living room with fireplace, and two bedrooms and bathrooms.

3. Great kitchen and living room and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, with some nice touches like an ipad in the room and a courtesy bottle of wine and Ghirardelli chocolates waiting for us on arrival.

6. 'Room' is in quotes because we were upgraded at no extra charge to a two bedroom, 2 1/2 bath suite with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, and washer and dryer.

7. Adults and kids had their own bedrooms and bathrooms, we had a very serviceable kitchen, but the twice daily housekeeping service, concierge, and friendly staff waiting to attend to any request had us feeling pampered and rested.

Every time we travel as a family I have the same dilemma--if we rent a home or apartment everyone has there own space & we have the convenience of a kitchen and laundry, but the flip side of that is that I don't really feel like I get a vacation--I'm still preparing meals, tidying up after people (even more so when we're not in our own home), and doing laundry.
